What is SKK?

SKA (Certificate of Expertise) and SKT (Certificate of Skills) have now changed their terms to the Construction Services Work Competency Certificate (SKK).


SKK (Certificate of Work Competency) is a Certificate of Skill / Expertise that must be owned by someone who wants to become an expert / skilled in the construction field according to Circular Letter No. 02 / SE / M / 2021 /SE / M / 2020 concerning Amendments to the Circular Letter of the Minister of PUPR No. 30 / SE / M / 2020 concerning Transition of Business Entity Certification Services & Construction Services Work Competency Certification.


The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing makes it easy for Business Entities to participate in the selection process for goods / services providers for the 2021 Budget Year, by applying SBU and SKK which expire from January 23, 2021 to December 30, 2021, remain valid until December 31, 2021.


As regulated in the Minister of PUPR Circular Letter Number 2/SE/M/2021 concerning Amendments to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 30/SE/M/2020 concerning Transition of Business Entity Certification Services and Construction Services Work Competency Certification.


Construction Services Workers must have a certificate issued by a Professional Certificate Institute by obtaining a license from the Ministry of PUPR. This certificate is called SKK - Construction Work Competency Certificate, previously known as SKA - Certificate of Expertise.


Contractors / Consultants are required to have a number of qualified workers and have a work level as evidenced by having a SKK Construction certificate in carrying out project work in the field and as a condition for applying for SBU - Business Entity Certificate.
